About Jellybelly Fotografía artística
Jellybelly es una serie de fotografía artística que retrata medusas. Las imágenes fueron tomadas dentro de un gran acuario por la noche, en completa oscuridad. Solo se emplearon unas pocas luces artificiales dentro y fuera del acuario, otorgando a las medusas un resplandor sutil. La serie busca capturar el movimiento elegante y la estética de una especie que además es un indicador de la calidad del agua. Cada imagen se imprime en papel de bellas artes, se monta sobre aluminio y se enmarca en roble negro con una junta de sombra de dos centímetros. Se ofrecen dos ediciones limitadas, con formatos de 50 por 50 cm y 80 por 80 cm.

- Fine Art photography. The artworks of this series are offered in two limited editions: 10 pieces of each motiv in 50 by 50 cm and 5 pieces in 80 by 80 cm. They are printed on Hahnemühle fine art paper and mounted on aluminium with a black wooden frame and a shadow-gap of 2 cm.

- Production Technology
- The pictures were shot in a big aquarium where the artist had the permisson to work and shoot during the night in complete darkness. Only some artificial lights inside the aquarium and from the outside were just to give the jellifishes some subtile glow.
- Inspiration
- Jellyfishes are one of the most fascinating species in the oceans.There are jellyfish whose aging process is virtually non-existent, theoretically, if they are not eaten, they could live forever. Jellyfish move very elegantly, are important for the entire marine ecosystem and are an indicator of water quality. And they have a certain aesthetics.
