El Da50 Rg lleva la aviación general moderna a otro nivel con tren de aterrizaje retráctil, un motor de 300 HP con doble turbocompresor alimentado por combustible tipo jet y aviónica de última generación. La elegante estructura completamente de material compuesto de carbono incorpora aerodinámica avanzada con la más reciente tecnología de seguridad pasiva para un alto rendimiento.

Unique Properties: DA50 RG recently emerged as the ultimate aircraft for pilots and their passengers: the most spacious, jet-fuel efficient, luxurious, modern, eco-friendly single-engine piston aircraft in the world.The DA50 RG takes modern general aviation to another level with retractable gear, a twin turbo charged jet-fueled 300HP engine and state-of-the-art avionics. The sleek all carbon composite airframe incorporates advanced aerodynamics with the latest in passive safety technology for high performance.

Production Technology: The aircraft is fully made of carbon composite with specific areas out of glass fiber composite to optimize the design with a sophisticated jet-fuel engine. Besides aluminum alloy, for e.g. landing gear structure, also modern 3D-print materials are used. The glass cockpit consists of state-of-the-art Garmin avionics.
Inspiration: The DA50 RG design is the latest evolution of Diamond Aircraft’s original vision that started with the single-engine DA20: combining modern composite construction and advanced design technologies to create the safest and most modern general aviation aircraft product range and to meet the increasing demand for a premium high performance single engine piston light aircraftThe aircraft is fully made of carbon composite with specific areas out of glass fiber composite to optimize the design.
Project Duration: Duration: In 2018 the DA50 RG project started with Continental CD300 Engine; In 2020 DA50 RG has received EASA Type Certificate
