Lagos es una mesa de comedor diseñada para comedores y otros espacios compartidos. El diseño emplea líneas limpias y formas geométricas definidas para lograr una apariencia minimalista. La base de madera presenta un acabado texturizado que evoca el cemento, vinculando referencias naturales y urbanas. La forma de la base puede variar, desde estructuras tradicionales hasta interpretaciones más escultóricas. La mesa mide 310 centímetros de ancho, 80 centímetros de alto y 120 centímetros de profundidad, ofreciendo amplio espacio para los comensales. La madera certificada, el metal y los acabados de hormigón favorecen su durabilidad en el uso diario.

The Lagos table is designed to be a focal point in dining rooms, with a base that can vary in terms of shapes, from more traditional structures to more sculptural and innovative interpretations.

Design Challenge: One of the main challenges was finding a perfect balance between the desired aesthetics and functionality. Leite wanted to create a table that was not only beautiful but also practical for everyday use. The design of the base, for example, needed to be visually interesting without compromising the stability of the table. To overcome this obstacle, several prototypes and stability tests were necessary, which led to adjustments in the proportions and materials used.
Research: The design research of Victor Leite's Lagos table began with the analysis of the needs of users and market trends. Inspired by natural landscapes, Leite sketched several ideas, exploring shapes and materials. With prototypes, stability and functionality were tested, adjusting details as needed. The choice of materials, such as wood and metal, and the use of laser cutting technology have ensured a final product that combines aesthetics and durability, creating a functional and elegant piece.
Inspiration: The Lagos Dining Table was inspired by the desire to blend natural elements with modern design. Its wooden base, featuring a textured finish reminiscent of cement, strikes a balance between nature and urban aesthetics. Designed for both style and functionality, it provides ample space and comfort for guests, making it ideal for those who seek a distinctive touch of elegance and practicality in their dining space.
