About Frutta La Lámpara Frutta

Frutta es una lámpara de piso que toma la forma de un árbol de frutas. Los usuarios pueden elegir las luces del árbol como si fueran frutas, creando una experiencia íntima y nostálgica entre humanos e iluminación. Frutta es un sistema modular, que permite que las luces se separen de la unidad de la lámpara de la parte principal y se vuelvan a colocar a las cunas opcionales que dan control de los usuarios sobre cómo la luz se expresa a través de un espacio. Frutta promete enriquecer su vida ofreciendo soluciones de iluminación ilimitadas posibles al combinar nuestro diseño con un poco de su imaginación.

Unique Properties: Frutta offers a new approach to how individuals interact
with their home lighting by envisioning a floor lamp as a fruit tree.

Current home lighting units are often inflexible in their usage due to being singular units. Frutta introduces a modular system allowing users to customize and control the lighting of their surroundings. The experience of “picking” the lights off of Frutta as if they were fruits creates an intimate and natural relationship between human and lighting.

Design Challenge: Lighting is primarily an inorganic product that switches on and off. We introduced an emotional experience to lighting.
Inspiration: We want everyone to remember picking fruit, which they experienced in childhood. Frutta promises to enrich your life by offering limitless lighting solutions made possible by combining clever design with a bit of your imagination.
Project Duration: The project started in February 2020 in Tokyo
Operation Flow: Frutta provides three main functions.
1. Frutta allows multiple people within a space to directly control and customize their own lighting needs.
2. Lighting can be used to affect and reinforce our mood. In a situation where one may be trying to concentrate, energize, or relax, users can arrange the lighting to best fit their desired atmosphere. 3. Singular lighting units often present the issue with uneven lighting of a space. Frutta can spread itself out allowing for even and natural ambient lighting throughout a room or space.
