About Trex Diseño de cartel

Trex es un cartel diseñado para presentar un nuevo motor respetuoso con el medio ambiente desarrollado por una empresa de turbomaquinaria. El cartel mide 700 por 1000 milímetros y se produce mediante impresión digital. El contenido visual explica cómo el motor mejora la eficiencia de la combustión y reduce la pérdida interna de energía. Un sistema de cojinetes de aire aumenta la potencia del compresor en un 30 por ciento y favorece un funcionamiento de bajas emisiones. Piezas como la carcasa y los conductos de aire se han modelado con curvas y superficies B-Spline para mejorar la eficiencia del flujo de aire. Las matemáticas y el análisis de dinámica de fluidos respaldan el diseño visual.

Design Challenge: The challenges of this design are (a)the way of combination between science and art; (b)research about various properties of B-Splines.
Research: Trex is a new and environment-friendly engine product from Birmingham High Performance Turbomachinery. Compared with other engines nowadays, it improves combustion efficiency and reduces the internal loss of energy by radical engine configuration and design. Its Advanced air bearing system improves compressor power by 30% and provides a low emission running. Necessary parts are designed with B-Spline curves and surfaces, contributing to enhancing the airflow efficiency such as the casing, the inlet/outlet air ducts and so on. Like the lotus growing in the pond, Trex is the revolution of traditional engine design.

Project Duration: The project started in October 2018 in The United Kingdom and finished in July 2019 in The United Kingdom.
Operation Flow: It ideally echoes the role of mathematics as an interface between science and art, and demonstrates that B-Spline and CFD can form an excellent combination of science and arts and provide a powerful tool for creating and analyzing arts.
