About Aava Los Suplementos

Embalaje de etiquetas y cajas para una marca de alimentos saludables con fuertes raíces en los países nórdicos. El diseño debe tener un toque natural, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta que los ingredientes son naturales. Los grupos demográficos objetivo son hombres y mujeres de entre 30, 40, 50 y 60 años. La caja está impresa en papel con acabado celofán mate. Mientras que para el contenedor se elige plástico transparente porque es el plástico más valioso después del reciclaje.

Unique Properties: Packaging design for AAVALABS, the Nordics company, with a Finnish twist. Honesty and Transparency are in the core of the company, so that is also portrayed in products design, that breathes Nordic purity and freshness.

Production Technology: The graphics were illustrated digitally on Adobe Illustrator. Every product has it's own Pantone color and it's printed on offset printing machine.
Design Challenge: In terms of design, the challenge was merging different varieties of plants into one
Research: Botanical research, and research on raw stones and minerals were carried out for each individual packaging. Illustrations on the background were strongly influenced by illustrations from botanical books and encyclopedias.
Inspiration: A rough translation of Aava is “open”. The word has been in the Finnish vocabulary for centuries and holds a special meaning that can only be described by seeing an Aava Landscape. That is why the packaging design allows everyone to experience the power of nature for themselves.
Project Duration: The project was completed with a quick turnaround time of 1 month, in Febroary 2019.
