About GRND Coffee Diseño Interior de Cafetería
GRND Coffee es el interior de una cafetería proyectado en un espacio de 30 metros cuadrados. El antiguo edificio cuenta con tabiques de escasa resistencia, por lo que se incorporó una estructura de acero independiente que actúa como envolvente. La envolvente está revestida con madera de roble dispuesta en espiga con separadores de latón. Los perfiles de latón repiten ese mismo patrón en el pavimento de terrazo pulido. Las superficies de mármol y las inserciones de latón pulido se combinan con elementos industriales. En lugar de mesas y sillas convencionales, una hilera de bancos tapizados recorre uno de los muros. Las mesas, pequeñas y ligeras, pueden desplazarse para adaptarse a cada comensal.

- Unique Properties
- In order to separate the cafe from the old building weak wall structure, we created a separate steel structure works as an envelope finished with oak wood in a herringbone pattern with brass dividers, echoed by brass spacers in the polished terrazzo floor. To maximize the 30 square metre space, rather than tables and chairs, we provided a row of upholstered benches along one wall accompanied by small, lightweight tables that can be easily moved to suit patrons’ needs.
