About East and West Keraamiline skulptuur
Ida ja Lääs on sipelgate kujuliste keraamiliste käsitööesemete seeria. Iga sipelgaskulptuuri mõõtmed on 160 millimeetrit pikkuses, 120 millimeetrit sügavuses ja 300 millimeetrit kõrguses. Vorm on valmistatud skulptuurivormi pöördmeetodil ja põletatud kõrgel temperatuuril 1300 kraadi juures. Jingdezheni töökodadest kogutud taaskasutatud sinine-valge paber on ühendatud moodsa galvaniseerimistehnikaga, sidudes ida dekoratsiooni lääne stiiliga. Kuna taaskasutatud paber erineb igas teoses, on igaüks sipelgatest unikaalne. Seeria väljendab taaskasutuse ja keskkonnakaitse idee.
