About Ibis Styles Boleslawiec Hotel Barneko Diseinua

Ibis Styles Boleslawiec Poloniako Boleslawiec hirian dagoen hotel bateko barnealdea da, zeramikarekin, kobalto koloreekin eta ezaugarri bereizgarriko ereduekin lotutako hiria. Bertako zeramika artisautza da diseinuaren gai nagusia. Espazio koloretsu eta saturatuek ohiko motiboak joera modernoekin uztartzen dituzte. Harrera-mostradoreek neurriz kanpoko kikaren forma hartzen dute. Beste xehetasun batzuek zeramikagintza gogorarazten dute, hala nola alfonbrako buztingile-gurpil-eredua eta gurpil batean formatutako mahai-hanka bat. Haurrentzako eremu bereizi batek horma-instalazio bat du, non blokeekin ereduak sor daitezkeen.

Production Technology
Right from the doorstep, guests are amazed by the combination of modern design with local ceramics motif. They are welcome by reception stands which took the form of oversized cups and finish the journey in cobalt yellow rooms - just like the contemporary colors and directions in ceramics. Every elephant in porcelain (which can be translated to English as to be like a bull in a china shop) will find here eagerly elements referring to the main theme (including spinning a potter's wheel on the carpet, a table leg shaped on the wheel, or a dot pattern on a wall panel).
Design Challenge
While entering the hotel, guests enter the path of discovering the history and the process of creating the local ceramics craftsmanship. The design challenge was how to make a ceramics-inspired interior not obvious, surprising, and attractive to the visitors.
Research
Boleslawiec is a city known in Poland for being a ceramics basin known not only in Poland but in the whole world. While working on interior designers took time for getting to know what the whole process of creating ceramics looks like: from how the paint and its colors are made, through creating shapes, to the final product. All this knowledge led to the transformation of the design to be not obvious, a bit modern but also showing history and process of Boleslawiec ceramic craftsmanship.
Inspiration
Boleslawiec is a charming city, inextricably associated with ceramics, its cobalt color, and unique patterns. No wonder then that traditional dishes has become the main inspiration for the latest design for the Ibis Styles brand. Just as Polish ceramics won people's hearts and tables, such a unique leitmotif - Boleslaw ceramics will be remembered for a long time - combining traditional approach and design with modern trends and innovative solutions.
Project Duration
The project started in 2016 in Boleslawiec and finished in June 2020.
Operation Flow
This project introduces a new direction to a unique leitmotif - Boleslawiec ceramics. Interior design combines traditional approach and design with modern trends and innovative solutions. It interacts in a way of attraction and intrigues to get to know the place, hotel, history, and process of creating ceramics better.
