About House in Niigata Bizitegi Eraikina
Niigatako Etxea lau kideko familia batentzat diseinatutako etxebizitza pribatua da, dentsitate handiko auzune zahar batean. Kanpoko hormak gris kolore leunez tindatutako egur materialez eginda daude, eraikina inguruko kaleekin harmonian egon dadin. Plana bi lorategiren inguruan antolatuta dago. Hormigoi hormaz itxitako patio bat behe solairuan kokatzen da, eta egurrezko sare batez markatutako teilatu-terraza bat bigarren solairuan. Gela guztiek bi lorategi hauetara ematen dute, horrenbestez ez da beharrezkoa gortina bezalako pantailarik jartzea. Egurrezko eraikuntza tradizionala erabili zen.

The impact of architecture on the cityscape is great.
I created a good cityscape and thought of a house where you can feel nature. - Research
- We built a courtyard and a roof terrace, and thought about balancing the contradictions of openness and privacy.
We have verified how to take in light and wind many times.
Therefore, we have realized openness and a private space. - Inspiration
- Many houses are lined up in old residential areas in urban areas.
The surrounding houses are all built at the same time.
The exterior is made of similar industrial material.
In an old residential area, I wanted to change the uniform cityscape while cooperating with the cityscape.
Even in a residential area in an urban area, I thought of a house that feels nature. - Project Duration
- Construction started in 2017 in Niigata, Japan. Completed in 2018.
- Operation Flow
- On the first floor, we created a courtyard surrounded by a concrete wall.
On the second floor, we made a roof terrace and surrounded it with a wooden lattice and an outer wall.
All the rooms have been placed in these two gardens.
The garden creates a private space.
There is no need for blindfolds such as curtains.
The connection with the outside will be strengthened positively.
I thought that feeling nature in everyday life was an open house.
