About Collection Faceted Altzaria

Faceted-en historia duela urtebete hasi zen Tirolen, Alpe Austriarren bihotzean. Paisaia paregabea, aire garbia, baso jainkotiarrak, arkitektura autentikoa eta tradizioetan oinarritutako zurgintza Palnychenko-design estudioaren inspirazio-iturri indartsua bihurtu ziren. Faceted Tiroleko esperientzia paregabea adierazteko diseinatu da, non natura eta pertsonak elkarrekin bizi eta elkar osatzen duten, baliabide naturalak erabiliz, tradizioak zaintzen eta ingurumena zainduz. Palnychenko-design estudioak tokiko zur tradizionalari ikuspegi modernoa ematen dio diseinu freskoan ateratzeko.

Brontze-mailako irabazleak trebetasunez beteriko eta nabarmenki sortzaileak diren artefaktuak dira, beren diseinatzaileen esperientzia zabala, irudimena eta ekimena egiaztatzen dutenak. Collection Faceted Altzaria oso estimatua, miretsia eta maitea den objektua izatea espero da, nabarmenki profesionala eta berritzailea dena. Brontzezko Saria A' Design Award irabazi duen diseinu honek artearen, zientziaren, diseinuaren eta teknologiaren praktika onenak biltzen ditu eta xehetasunei ematen dien arretagatik bikaina da. Unique Properties: Faceted are made of identical spruce cants what makes this collection unique. Solid wooden details provide the necessary
stability on the one hand, and please eye, urging you to touch and feel them, on the other hand. The facets elegantly expose the exceptional texture of the wood.

Production Technology: All the products are made from identical 44mmx44mm cants. The production can be realised in small woodcraft workshops, does not involve complicated manufacturing operations and is therefore low-energy consuming.
Design Challenge: Spruce has long history and culture of woodcraft in Tirol. It represents history and beauty of harmonic lifestyle with nature. Unique features of spruce wood allow creating
volumetric details with relatively low weight to achieve the required stability and durability. The process integrates traditional methods, eco-friendly technologies, skills and
experience of local masters to bring out spruce wood in modern design.
Research: Palnychenko-design studio is based in Tirol, Austria. The town of Innsbruck is located inthe heart of Austrian Alps. Originally this mountainous region with dense forests is
famous for woodcraft. Brand came about with an ambition to combine traditional approach, optimised production, local natural materials and contemporary design in elegant furniture products.
Inspiration: Collection Faceted is designed to explicit the unique experience of Tirol, where nature and people coexist and complement each other, using natural resources, developing
traditions and taking care of the environment. We decided to look at the traditional local wood from a modern angel in order to bring it out in a fresh design.
Project Duration: The project started in October 2023 in Innsbruck, Austria, and finished in February 2024. The Faceted has not been exhibited yet.
Operation Flow: Faceted chair collection is born in the region where people and nature beneficially coexist and interact. The Faceted are made from traditional Tirolean spruce wood, which is the most popular and at the same time quickly renewed material.
