About Raised History Jaialdiko Argi Instalazioa

Raised History Gabonetako ekitaldi baterako sortutako jaialdiko argi instalazioa da. Egitura egurrezko sareta batez eraikita dago, barne-egitura agerian utziz eta zuhaitz baten forma osatuz. Aldatzen diren argi koloreak geruza bakoitzaren behealdean kokatutako oihaletara proiektatzen dira. Koloreak hiriaren garai historikoetan oinarritzen dira, eta forma kurbatuak portuaren sorreran ibilitako belaontzi baten kilari egiten dio gogorarazte. Kanal zahar baten ondoan kokatuta, instalazioak fokugune bisual gisa jarduten du eta jai giroa dakar portu inguruko eremura.

Design Challenge: The most difficult part was the structure of each wooden lattice. The structure had two curves, one for horizontal skirt under each layer and the other for vertical facade, and much more calculation was necessary than ordinary curved shape by lattice.
Inspiration: We leverage historical elements of the city, planning colors that represent each era and transforming them into projected light hues. Employing the sailboat keel structure from the port's establishment 400 years ago, we create a rhythm with undulating curves, giving the entire tree an elegant and dynamic appearance.
Project Duration: The project started in November 2023 in Tainan City, Taiwan and finished in December 2023. The installation was built for Christmas event which was held for 1 month.
