About Lagos Jangela-mahaia

Lagos jangeletarako eta beste espazio partekatuetarako diseinatutako jangela-mahaia da. Diseinuak lerro garbiak eta forma geometriko definituak erabiltzen ditu itxura minimalista lortzeko. Egurrezko oinarriak zementua gogorarazten duen akabera testuraduna du, erreferentzia naturalak eta hiritarrak lotuz. Oinarriaren forma alda daiteke, egitura tradizionaletatik interpretazio eskultoriko gehiagotara. Mahaiak 310 zentimetroko zabalera, 80 zentimetroko altuera eta 120 zentimetroko sakonera ditu, gonbidatuentzako espazio zabala eskainiz. Egur ziurtatuak, metalak eta hormigoizko akaberek eguneroko erabileran iraunkortasuna bermatzen dute.

Unique Properties: The design of the Lagos dining table is characterized by a minimalist aesthetic, with clean lines and well-defined geometric shapes. Victor Leite focuses on creating pieces that are visually impactful, but also maintain a simplicity that allows for easy integration into different environments. The Lagos table is designed to be a focal point in dining rooms, with a base that can vary in terms of shapes, from more traditional structures to more sculptural and innovative interpretations.

Design Challenge: One of the main challenges was finding a perfect balance between the desired aesthetics and functionality. Leite wanted to create a table that was not only beautiful but also practical for everyday use. The design of the base, for example, needed to be visually interesting without compromising the stability of the table. To overcome this obstacle, several prototypes and stability tests were necessary, which led to adjustments in the proportions and materials used.
Research: The design research of Victor Leite's Lagos table began with the analysis of the needs of users and market trends. Inspired by natural landscapes, Leite sketched several ideas, exploring shapes and materials. With prototypes, stability and functionality were tested, adjusting details as needed. The choice of materials, such as wood and metal, and the use of laser cutting technology have ensured a final product that combines aesthetics and durability, creating a functional and elegant piece.
Inspiration: The Lagos Dining Table was inspired by the desire to blend natural elements with modern design. Its wooden base, featuring a textured finish reminiscent of cement, strikes a balance between nature and urban aesthetics. Designed for both style and functionality, it provides ample space and comfort for guests, making it ideal for those who seek a distinctive touch of elegance and practicality in their dining space.
Project Duration: The project, which started in São Paulo in 2022, took 2 years to complete. This deadline included all phases of development
