About Toma Sofa

Toma bizitzeko espazioetarako diseinatutako sofa bat da. Tomaren forma ehun zati bakar bat eserleku osoaren inguruan biltzeko ideiatik dator, krepe oihalaren erara. Emaitza gainazal jarraitu bat da, uhindura leunak dituena eta eserita dagoen pertsona inguratzen duena. Ehun elastikoa erabili zen gainazal kurbatu konplexua lortzeko, ekoizteko zaila zena. Tomak 1580 mm-ko zabalera, 950 mm-ko sakonera eta 850 mm-ko altuera ditu. Diseinuak altzari arrunt baterako forma askeago bat esploratzen du.

This sofa was born from the act of wrapping it in a single piece.
It has become a unique sofaa with undulations. This project began with the question: could we express the commonplace piece of furniture that is the sofa in a freer form? The idea expanded from the thought that wrapping it in a single piece of fabric, like crepe, might yield an interesting shape, leading us to arrive at this form.
