About Era Bizkarralderik gabeko Aulkia
Era bizkarralderik gabeko aulki bat da, barnealdeetarako eserleku-elementu eskultoriko gisa diseinatua. Oinarria goiko eta beheko poste baten artean finkatutako metalezko hagaxkez osatuta dago, bakoitza angelu kalkulatuetan ezarritako zuloak dituen metalezko eraztun batek eusten diolarik. Hagaxkak ardatz zentral baten inguruan biratzen dira, eta lerroen arteko argi-isladapenak mugimendu-sentsazioa sortzen du. Finkatze-elementu guztiak ezkutuan daude, egitura forma garbi bezala irakur dadin. Eserlekua espuma eta larruz estalita dago, eta barruko kontratxatuzko xafla batek espuma deformatu ez dadin eusten du. Erak 500 milimetro ditu altueran, 450 zabaleran eta 450 sakoneran.

- Production Technology
- The rods are fixed at the top and bottom poles, each by a metal ring, each of which has a calculated angle hole. The stool is covered with a foam and a leather cover, and a plywood plate is embedded in the seat to prevent the foam from deforming.
- Design Challenge
- The clearness of the design was one of the main intentions during the whole development period. That meant that no visible fastening elements were allowed. These objectives together required the invention of an ingenious, yet simple solution to completely hide the fastening elements for the poles. Probably this was the hardest part of the development.
- Research
- Until the final form of Era was realized, diverse prototypes has been constructed to get the best possible look. All the angles, number and diameter of poles, the final colors, the exact shape of the ring was researched in many ways. We have also made numerous experiments with the SLS technology, to reach the desired quality and perfect assembly tolerances for the manufacturing of the product.
- Inspiration
- The main idea of the quadruped is derived from nature. The circular rotation around a axis makes it look like a tornado. Regular repetition of lines at the base of stool has made it a modern sculpture
- Project Duration
- This project started in April of 2018 in Tehran, Iran.
- Operation Flow
- It is part of a new living style that, due to its special shape, can create a unique landscape as a unit or even in combination with other components of the interior.
