About JAM Vision Track3 قاب عینک
JAM Vision Track3 قاب عینکی است که برای کاهش اثرات زیست‌محیطی طراحی شده است. جلوی قاب و نوک دسته‌ها از جنس PA11 و با روش تولید افزایشی ساخته شده‌اند که میزان ضایعات مواد را محدود می‌کند. دسته‌ها و پل بینی نیز با برش لیزری از فولاد ضدزنگ کاملاً بازیافتی ساخته شده‌اند. هر قاب به‌صورت سفارشی و بر اساس تقاضا تولید می‌شود، به‌گونه‌ای که از انباشت موجودی و مازاد تولید جلوگیری می‌شود. تمامی قطعات به‌صورت مکانیکی به یکدیگر متصل شده‌اند، بدون استفاده از لحیم یا چسب، به‌طوری‌که در صورت شکستن، تنها همان قطعه قابل تعویض است. یک لولای مغناطیسی ثبت‌شده نیاز به پیچ را از بین می‌برد و طی ۱۰۰٬۰۰۰ چرخه باز و بسته شدن بدون افت عملکرد آزمایش شده است. وزن کل قاب کمتر از ۲۰ گرم است.

- Unique Properties
- The Eyewear is fully sustainable, economical, made on demand, and innovative. Thanks to additive manufacturing and Laser cut stainless steel 100% recycled, made on demand, the project is eco-responsible without creating wasted product. Thanks to the patented simple hinges and the clipping system, it could be assembled even by the end user ! Also, as the patented hinge is based on magnetic elements, the hinge is life lasting (100.000 folding test has been made, without any loss performance !)

- Production Technology

- Design Challenge
- When we decided to launch a brand, we decided that the footprint of this line needs to be as minimum as possible. The eyewear industry use to work with classical soustractive solution (80% of the raw material is trashed), and fixed assembly solution (riveted, soldered, shouted). We decided to start with a brand new method, work in additive, source only eco responsible material, and mechanical easy assembly, to eventually leave the customer to do it by himself.
- Inspiration
- We were inspired by Ikea, for the easy assembly, and also by the old metal toys to be bend and assembly. Then, lines are inspired by minimalism Japanese spirit, and engineering achievement that we learnt working with some high-end customer (like McLaren). Hinges came thanks to my passion for magnets
- Project Duration
- 8 months of creation and pre-production, designed in Lyon, France
- Operation Flow
- This frame is obtained by easy assembly between parts after high personalization of each parts, made on demand, without high stock. All the elements are easy to remove in order to replace just one part in case of breakage. The hinge itself has been tested with 100.000 folding, without any reduction of performance, which push the boundaries of every other ones resistance.
