About The Eclipse طراحی داخلی آپارتمان مسکونی
اکلیپس یک طراحی داخلی آپارتمان مسکونی در هسینچو، تایوان است که مساحتی معادل ۸۲ متر مربع را در بر می‌گیرد. این طراحی از زیبایی‌شناسی وابی-سابی ژاپنی پیروی می‌کند که بر پایه ناکاملی، عدم تقارن و سادگی استوار است. رنگ‌آمیزی معدنی در سراسر فضا به کار رفته و سطوحی نامنظم و سه‌بعدی را شکل می‌دهد. تن‌های طبیعی اُخرایی و کف‌پوش چوب بلوط شرقی، فضای نشیمن را تعریف می‌کنند. سقف منحنی یادآور ابرها و کسوف است و نور از درزهای آن عبور می‌کند. مبلمان از چوب بازیافتی ساخته شده تا از قطع درختان کاسته شود.

- Unique Properties
- The Eclipse is a modern Wabi-sabi apartment with an old soul presents the art of Wabi-Sabi. The design shows that simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. By Eclipse as the theme, using layering sense of space with deep and light hue converge to natural look. Designer utilizes three dimension (Carrier, Energy and Expression) to connect Time , Space and Human naturally.

- The mineral painting is applied to the whole space to show irregular shape.The natural concave and convex surfaces enhance the overall atmosphere of Wabi-Sabi. The natural ochre color is the theme of living room and the wood floor is natural oriental oak. These make the occupants feel like that they are living in a cave. Bed room uses different mineral painting method to make the surface of wall diversifying. Occupants get rest in the bed room having extreme comfort.
The furniture is made from recycled wood in Taiwan to reduce wood cutting. It integrate with the design concept. - Design Challenge
- The whole space of the apartment uses the mineral painting. The mineral painting is a new painting method in Taiwan interior design industry. The traditional mineral painting is a plane surface. Specially, this design uses mineral painting is three dimension especially on the surface of living room's cabinet.

- The Eclipse is inspired by the Wabi-Sabi of Japanese aesthetics. The essence of the Wabi-Sabi are imperfection, asymmetry, simplicity and plain. People could have these four essences's vision and feeling in the Eclipse. By this design, let people live or stay in this apartment having reflection about the essence of Wabi-Sabi to get contentment and peace of mind.
- Project Duration
- The project started in Jan 2021 and finished in July 2021.
The residential apartment is located in Hsinchu, Taiwan - Operation Flow
- Around the main axis of the eclipses, spaces are stacked layer upon layer with a feel of volume and painted freely in light and dark tones, to converge into the look of nature between lightness and heaviness. The curved ceiling is shaped like floating clouds in the sky and eclipses of the sun and the moon, through seams of which light filters. Based on the concept of sustainability, recycled wood containing stories is selected to reset furniture. The natural texture of weathered timber makes it look like in a forest, where one surrounded by woody phytoncide breathes gently and relieves fatigue of a day in the tranquil moment.
