About Shuttles of Light طراحی داخلی مسکونی
شاتل‌های نور یک طراحی داخلی مسکونی برای یک خانه ویلایی در تایوان است. این خانه هفت‌طبقه، ۴۱۳.۷ مترمربع فضای داخلی را در بر می‌گیرد و برای خانواده‌ای سه‌نسلی طراحی شده است. پلکان‌های فولادی شناور و یک نیم‌طبقه با کف جمع‌شونده، طبقات را به یکدیگر متصل کرده و نور روز را به هر طبقه می‌رسانند. سطح اشغال‌شده توسط دیوارهای جداکننده و پلکان‌ها کاهش یافته تا فضای آزاد بیشتری فراهم شود. اتاق نشیمن و آشپزخانه جای معمول خود را با یکدیگر عوض کرده‌اند تا حرکت درون فضا بهبود یابد. دیوارها و سقف‌ها با رنگ لوتوس پوشانده شده‌اند تا بافتی شبیه به مواد معدنی ایجاد شود.

- Unique Properties
- The top floor provides a comfortable and independent living space for the couple, with an abundance of natural light. The space also encourages connection, allowing the couple to stay in touch with each other and the world around them. The mezzanine level, which features a retractable floor and floating steel stairs, serves as a beautiful transition between the upper and lower levels. It introduces even more light and creates a sense of continuity throughout the home.
Upstairs, the sleeping area has soft and tranquil lighting, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The hallway, with a view of the sky, provides a bright space for changing clothes and getting ready for the day. On the lower level, there is a peaceful living area and a study, both flooded with ample light thanks to the tall windows. Finally, the mezzanine level connects and provides comfort, making it the perfect spot for relaxing and unwinding after a long day. - Dimensions & Packaging
- A seven-story house. The indoor space covers 413.7 square meters.

- Production Technology
- The most special material is the lotos paint, which allows wall and ceiling parts have a mineral-like texture after being coated with it by a special process. And the key floating steel stairs with a strong structure introduce light and connect the upper level and the lower level.
- Design Challenge
- The spacious living room as a home theater, the window-side restaurant to accommodate up to eight people and the kitchen island dramatically changed the typical traffic flow indoors, with the living room and the kitchen swapping locations. This has significantly enhanced the independence and interconnectivity of each of the three areas.
- Research
- After the evaluation of the needs of each resident and with the ample areas for practical purposes, the footprint for partitions and stairs is reduced, to allow more free space and natural lighting. Light and life flow through each floor.
- Inspiration
- Shuttles of Light in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, is a detached house. The conceptual thinking started with its roughcast status and aimed to create a wonderful living space for a family of three generations. Unobstructed light is there when eating, cooking, and reading. After the estimates of the needs of each resident and with the ample areas for practical purposes, the footprint for partitions and stairs is reduced, to allow more free space and natural lighting.
