About Waterfall صندلی استراحت
متن کتاب: واترفال (آبشار) یک صندلی استراحت است که برای استفاده در محیط‌های اداری و آسایش روزمره طراحی شده است. فرم روان و جاری آن از آبشار تریبرگ در آلمان و ساختار توخالی درختان کهن الهام گرفته شده است. اتصالات قفل‌شونده، پایه‌ها را به نشیمنگاه متصل می‌کنند، بار را تحمل می‌کنند و ظاهر صندلی را شکل می‌دهند. پشتی و نشیمنگاه از انحنای کمر انسان پیروی می‌کنند و دو موج قرینه بر سطح نشیمنگاه، راحتی آن را افزایش می‌دهند. این صندلی از چوب گردوی اروپایی ساخته شده است. فرم ارگانیک آن توسط دستگاه‌های کنترل‌شده با رایانه تراش‌کاری می‌شود و سطوح آن با دست سنباده‌کاری می‌شوند.

- Unique Properties
- The design of this lounge seat is based on the graceful flow of the famous German landscape - the Triberg Waterfall - and reflects the organic and flowing sense of the seat as a whole. At the same time, the hollow structure of the hollow trees has been integrated into the design, and the interlocking forms have a certain connection with the function. The form of the seat backrest and seat surface follows the curve of the human waist, with two symmetrical subtle undulations on the seat surface, in line with ergonomics.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- 550 mm x 480 mmmm x 800 mm, The overall form of the seat is achieved through the use of modern CNC technology, with the wood milling machine, the polished organic form being shaped by hand by craftsmen; the small rounded corners and turned parts are also polished by machine to give them shape, and the articulation of the seat and legs draws on the organic hollowing elements, which are moulded together and complete the overall production process of the seat.

- Production Technology
- The production process is based on modern CNC technology, using solidworks software to design it and then a wood milling and carving machine to achieve the organic form. The sanding part is done by hand by the craftsman, and the splicing is done using a jointing pattern, using European walnut for the raw material.
- Design Challenge
- The combination of the organic elements of nature with industrial products and modern aesthetics, the functional comfort of use and the cleverness of the design of the organic elements was a challenge for this design. There is also the question of the cleverness, grace and rationality of the organic interplay between the chair surface and the legs.
- Research
- The vivid organic elements of natural forms, modern industrial production elements and modern aesthetics are integrated into the design of the seat, which not only innovatively applies natural organic themes to the design of the seat, but also makes the user have a comfortable experience when using it. The entire furniture set is designed using walnut as the raw material, a serious requirement for the material used in the seat.
- Inspiration
- The design is inspired by the organic and fluid feel of the famous German landscape, the Triberg Waterfall, but also by the openwork and clever interplay in the hollow trees, which play an important role in the mechanics of support. It can be enjoyed in the office or in everyday relaxation, and its simple form is both practical and aesthetically pleasing. To make rest more humane, the chair has been designed with a great deal of ergonomics in mind, while giving the user a sense of calm and peace of mind!
- Project Duration
- The design had started in Shenyang in March 2022, completed in Shenyang in June 2022, and displayed in the museum of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in Shenyang in June in 2022.
- Operation Flow
- When a person sits on the seat, the backrest and the seat surface are shaped and turned towards the curve of the body's waist to enhance its comfort. Two small symmetrical undulations are added to the seat surface to give the user a skin-friendly feel and add a human touch. The organic articulation of the legs and the surface of the chair will add to the aesthetics of the seat, while each interpolation serves the mechanics of the whole. The transition of the legs to the lower part of the seat from large to small makes the seat aesthetically pleasing to a certain extent.
