About When the Present Meets the Past Ravintolan sisustussuunnittelu

Kun nykyhetki kohtaa menneisyyden on ravintolan sisustussuunnitteluprojekti Taoyuanin kaupungissa Taiwanissa, valmistunut elokuussa 2015. Projekti uudistaa vanhan paikallisen ravintolan 198,34 neliömetrin kiinteistössä. Suunnittelu ammentaa Suzhoun, Kiinan, tyylistä ja soveltaa kiinalaista estetiikkaa ruokailutilaan. Kattoon on integroitu ristikkorakenne, joka perustuu kiinalaisiin puurakennusmenetelmiin. Perinteiset kiinalaiset puuovet kaiverretuilla ikkunaristikoilla jakavat käytävät ja mahdollistavat tilan joustavan käytön. Peilipinnat lisäävät visuaalista tilan tuntua, ja suuret seinämaalaukset kuvaavat perinteisiä tunnelmia.
