About Tube Collection Matkalaukkumallisto

Tube Collection on matkalaukkujen mallisto, joka on suunniteltu tuomaan kodin mukavuus ja suoja mukaan päivittäiseen liikkumiseen. Mallisto sisältää olkalaukkuja, salkkuja, kassilaukkuja ja reppuja useissa eri koossa, jotta ne vastaavat erilaisiin matkustustarpeisiin. Muoto on saanut inspiraationsa kuplapatsaasta ja antaa pehmeän, ympäröivän ulkomuodon. Sisään suljettu ilma luo leijunnan tunteen, jolloin jokainen laukku näyttää visuaalisesti kevyemmältä. Ulkokangas on mikrokuitua ja vuori puuvillaa. Erityistä huomiota kiinnitettiin kompakteihin mittasuhteisiin sekä leveisiin, hyvin sijoitettuihin aukkoihin.

Unique Properties: The formed travel collection for NIO focuses on bringing the comfort and security of home with you as your move from A to B. It refers to your home space but also the key feature of the collection, bringing softness and protection.
Dimensions & Packaging: Multi dimensions
Production Technology: Fabric: microfiber; Lining: 100% cotton
Design Challenge: The challenge in the design was primarily to find an ideal dimension that would provide both mobility and capacity. While the bubble column-based form ensures a unique design, it also brings a unique technical challenge. The product needed to provide a pick-and-place point as wide as possible in an extremely compact body and to guarantee a pleasing external curve. The designers therefore paid particular attention to minimizing the size of the gaps and their location.
Research: Aligned with the NIO brand, the collection embodies a mobile, open, sustainable and positive future, utilizing the best practice in recycling and material technology. Taking cues from familiar interior spaces, the collection offers the comforts of home to the next generation, nomadic, eco-conscious NIO user.
Inspiration: The product is inspired by the common bubble column in life, with a unique soft and wrapping feeling. The air wrapped inside gives the user a sense of suspension, making the product less visually heavy. The series provides users with a metaphor about home, so that they can experience such comfortable feeling at any time.
Project Duration: Opening of the project in 2018/8, first sale in 2020/2.
Operation Flow: The series of products provide users with a variety of choices, including messenger bags, briefcases, Tote bags and backpacks, to meet the different travel needs of users.
