Tietoa: Rizhao Ocean Park -meripuisto

Rizhao on meripuisto, jossa yhdistyvät akvaario sekä kasvi- ja lintupuisto. Suunnittelun inspiraationa toimi auringonnousun kultainen merenpinta. Epälineaarinen parametrinen menetelmä muotoilee pehmeitä kuvioita, jotka muistuttavat veden väreilyä. Akvaarion julkisivu on verhoiltu kultaisilla rei'itetyillä alumiinipaneeleilla, kun taas kasvi- ja lintupuistoa ympäröi lasinen julkisivuseinä. Akvaariota kruunaa pallomainen yksikerroksinen ristikkorakenteinen kattoikkuna, jonka jänneväli on 40 metriä, ja luonnonvalo ulottuu yli 60 prosenttiin vesialtaista. Kulkureitit ja altaat lomittuvat toisiinsa luoden vaihtelevia näyttelytiloja.
