About Andalusian Kauneussalonki

Andalusialaisesta / marokkolaisesta tyylista inspiroitu kauneussalonssisuunnittelu. Suunnittelu heijastaa tyylin rikkaita monimutkaisia kaiverruksia, koristekaaria ja värikkäitä kankaita. Salonki on jaettu kolmeen osaan: muotoilualue, vastaanotto- / odotusalue ja annostelu- / pesualue. Koko suunnittelussa on olemassa selkeä identiteetti, joka luo ainutlaatuisia tiloja. Andalusialaisessa / marokkolaisessa tyylissä on kyse elävistä väreistä, tekstuurista ja juoksevista linjoista. Tämän kauneussalongin tavoitteena on antaa asiakkaille ylellisyyttä, mukavuutta ja arvoa.

gypsum, wood, ceramic tiles, mosaic tiles, brass, leather, and geometric pattern wallpaper.
Design Challenge
Applying the Moroccan/Andalusian style with all its characteristics to match the design of a beauty salon, and ensure the client feels relaxed, pampered and valued. A variety of textures have been used to create visual interest with all the materials and furnishings.
Research
Research was done on the details and characteristics of the Moroccan/Andalusian style in interior design. Data collection included the different patterns, colors, and materials. The standards and dimensions of the arches were carefully studied. In addition to two case studies that were done before initiating the design, which resulted in collecting the design principles and regulations needed to apply the style on the interior design of the salon, and make sure the function isn't affected. Thus, creating a space where clients feel valued and satisfied.
Inspiration
The idea came from combining the usual design of the styling area in any beauty salon (which is a mirror and a chair), with the repetitive arches of the Moroccan style, trying to create repetitive styling areas just like the arches. The Moroccan style was influenced by several countries such as the Arab culture, Spain, France and Portugal. Some of its recognized features are geometric patterns, vivid colors, and mosaic tiles.
Project Duration
As Architecture Students, The project started in October 2019 and finished in December 2019. It was exhibited at Palestine Polytechnic University.
Operation Flow
Since the project is a beauty salon, it is very important to please the client during their service and maintain the flow. Thus, the design has multiple zones divided based on the function to maintain the client's satisfaction, considering the waiting area design, the welcoming fountain, the special retail products, the great relation between the clients and the owners, the trust, and comfort. All of this creates a sense of place through the design.
