About Ningbo Urban Construction Archives Arkistorakennus
Ningbo Urban Construction Archives on arkistorakennus, joka sijaitsee Ningbon kaupungissa Zhejiangin maakunnassa Kiinassa. Suunnittelu tulkitsee kaupungin historian rakentamisen historiana. Rakennukset ymmärretään lohkojen kokonaisuuksina, joten arkisto koostuu päällekkäin pinotuista lohkoista, jotka yhdistävät tilan ja materiaalin ominaisuuksia. Lohkot on jaettu kolmeen tyyppiin: läpinäkyviin, umpinaisiin ja erikoislohkoihin. Tontin pinta-ala on 6567 neliömetriä, ja kerrosalaa on yhteensä 17190 neliömetriä yhdellätoista maanpäällisellä tasolla sekä 6405 neliömetriä kahdella maanalaisella tasolla.

- Design Challenge
- Archives, which is regarded as an important culture carrier of collecting and preserving history, has abundant historical and cultural significance. Ningbo Urban Development Archives is mainly used to collecting developing history of this city, that it is called “Fortification History”. So, the start of design in this project is how to represent the concepts about fortification.
