About Gloria Bague, bracelet

Gloria est une collection de bijoux comprenant une bague et un bracelet. Le design s'inspire du halo, cet anneau lumineux que les artistes peignent autour de la tête des saints en signe de vertu. Les corps principaux de la bague et du bracelet sont façonnés à la main à partir de fil métallique. Les pierres sont également réalisées à la main à partir de matériaux naturels, sans colorants chimiques ni substances ajoutées, afin qu'elles puissent retourner à la nature. Les pièces peuvent être portées séparément ou combinées, ce qui permet d'en modifier la forme et la fonction. L'intention est d'exprimer l'élévation de l'esprit humain à travers un objet à porter sur soi.

Production Technology: The main shanks of the ring and the body of the bracelet are made by wire handforming and the stones’ materials are totally natural and environment friendly and in fact, no sort of chemical colors or substances has been used during the process of making.
Design Challenge: After searching in various features of natural materials, manifold techniques were tested to specify the optimal crafting method; so eventually a crafting process was selected out of sustainable and unique methods for making the stones of this collection.
Research: The design data of this collection and specially its stones, are garnered through information gathering and field & empirical studies.
Inspiration: (Gloria), In the dictionary it means halo, worshiping and praying of God the Almighty.The halo is a luminous ring which artists paint around the head of Saints or Mormons; this was used as the inspiration of the design.
Project Duration: This project started in 2017 and ended in 2019 after making the preliminary prototypes.
