About Hangzhou West Lake Aire de service autoroutière

L'aire de service du Lac de l'Ouest de Hangzhou est une aire de service autoroutière située à Hangzhou, en Chine. Le projet de reconstruction s'étend sur une zone d'aménagement de 61 408 mètres carrés et remplace des installations plus anciennes, d'une échelle et de fonctions limitées. La conception s'inspire de l'osmanthe odorant, fleur emblématique de Hangzhou, dont la forme couronne les bâtiments à travers les toitures. Les façades, composées de murs-rideaux en verre blanc et de claustras en bois, établissent un lien entre l'architecture et le paysage environnant. Deux bâtiments principaux, au nord et au sud, accueillent des espaces de restauration aux thématiques différentes. Le bois chaleureux et les teintes sobres définissent l'ambiance intérieure.

Unique Properties: Hang Zhou West Lake Service Area is located near Yuanpu Town of West Lake District. The original project had a small scale, single function and old facilities. In the reconstruction of the project, the design team gave priority to the sustainability of the public buildings and the experience of visitors and, incorporating the local cultural story background of Hangzhou, created a shopping mall styled comprehensive service area.

Production Technology: Under the special circumstance of the global pandemic, the designers introduced new service facilities such as smart capsule hotel, unmanned convenience store and unmanned coffee stand that apply the face recognition technology to reduce social contacts. Meanwhile, through the switch control in entrances of the building in five directions, they switch the one stop mode to the function separation mode, to reduce crowd gathering.
Design Challenge: Considering the characteristics of Hangzhou which boasts abundant fragrant golden cinnamons in autumn, the designers selected sweet-scented osmanthus, the city flower of Hangzhou, as the source of inspiration. In architectural design, they fully considered the visual connection between the architectural space and the surrounding landscape. The exterior facades composed of super white curtain wall glass and wooden grilles are combined with the osmanthus shaped roofs to endow the whole buildings a unique dynamic effect.
Research: Hang Zhou West Lake Service Area is a reconstruction project , the design team gives priority to the sustainability of the public buildings. This project bring a Hang Zhou culture to the visitors, the two main buildings in the north and south respectively provide a unique dining space of different themes.

With warm wood and pure colors, it creates a relaxed, cozy space atmosphere. The two main buildings in the north and south respectively provide a unique dining space of different themes.
