About Dragon Design intérieur de restaurant

Dragon est un intérieur de restaurant situé au sein d'un immeuble de bureaux dédié aux technologies financières à Pékin. Le projet s'étend sur 2 500 mètres carrés et recherche une atmosphère paisible fondée sur des éléments naturels. L'un des principaux défis tenait au fait que 80 pour cent de l'espace de restauration se trouve en sous-sol et ne reçoit aucune lumière naturelle. La nature y est donc simulée. Une cascade et un bassin sont façonnés en béton coulé grâce aux technologies numériques, et des canetons en cuivre semblent nager à leur surface. Les salons privés évoquent la forme d'une vallée, avec des plantes et le passage des saisons, tandis qu'une lumière simulée met en valeur ces espaces clos.

Unique Properties: The Dragon Restaurant is located in the Financial Tech office building. A relaxing restaurant atmosphere with natural elements is sought. One of challenges is that 80% of the dining space is located underground and therefore there is no natural light. There is a balance between Financial Tech and nature.

Inspiration: Nature is simulated: one by casting a "waterfall" and "pool" via digital tech. Some copper ducklings even "swim" on this cast installation. Because of the long cold winters, outdoor-waterscapes are not suitable in Beijing, but people love water features. Another simulation is to imitate the shape of a valley and various plants and different seasons in the private dining rooms which are without windows and natural light.

Operation Flow: Even though it is underground, people like its environment and feel good because of the simulation of light and the nature.
