Happy Excursion est l'aménagement intérieur d'une maison témoin à Shenzhen, en Chine, d'une superficie d'environ 418 mètres carrés. L'espace d'exposition conjugue le vent, la lumière et l'eau afin de relier l'être humain à la nature. Le revêtement de sol présente une texture de pierre bleue qui évoque une rivière paisible sous les pas des visiteurs. Un mur tridimensionnel en pierre Fantasy White Jade constitue l'élément central de la composition, sa surface se transformant au gré des variations de la lumière du jour. Un panneau de puits de lumière doté d'un film lumineux produit des effets d'éclairage doux et diffus. Les meubles en bois sont réalisés à partir de placages de bois sélectionnés, teintés et finis avec soin.

In this beautiful space, visitors are encouraged to immerse themselves in the vastness of the blue sky and the softness of the white clouds, fostering a deep connection to the world around them.

- To enhance the natural beauty and luxurious feel of the wooden cabinets, the designer meticulously oversees each step of the process, from selecting the wood veneer and dyeing it to arranging the wood grain and applying the finish. The goal is to achieve a perfect harmony between nature and sophistication.
- Recherche
- The undulating patterns of the end wall gracefully extend into the corridor, beautifully complementing the soft linen curtains and the striking main art wall, which together foster an atmosphere of dramatic tension. The vibrant Amazon green floor, reminiscent of gentle waves, radiates warmth and vitality, collaborating with the layered landscape painting curtains to create a captivating focal point. Meanwhile, the skylight panel utilizes an innovative light film technique, casting enchanting lighting effects that infuse the space with energy and lend it a light, ethereal quality.
- Inspiration
- Nestled in the vibrant heart of Shenzhen's development area, this project draws inspiration from the timeless design philosophies of Butterfly Isle, Northern Abyss, and Whale Cliff, as found in Zhuangzi book A Happy Excursion. It seeks to cultivate an environment that embodies a sense of freedom and tranquility, liberated from the burdens of modern life.

- At the focal point of the hall stands an exquisite 3D wall crafted from delicate Fantasy White Jade stone. As the natural light shifts throughout the day, the wall comes alive, showcasing a dynamic array of sheens that accentuate its dimensionality and depth, engaging visitors and inviting them to immerse themselves in the harmonious interplay of design and nature.
