About Morningblues Record R1 Enceinte

Morningblues Record R1 est une enceinte domestique dont la forme évoque un disque vinyle classique. Le système sonore haute fidélité est associé à un écran central haute définition qui affiche les paroles en temps réel, des visuels dynamiques, des pochettes d'albums ou une horloge virtuelle. Un écran antireflet préserve la netteté des images sous différents éclairages intérieurs. Le tissu noir, le bois de noyer et le plastique noir mat confèrent une apparence apaisante, en harmonie avec les intérieurs domestiques. La commande s'effectue au moyen de boutons physiques, d'une application dédiée ou d'un terminal séparé. L'enceinte mesure 888 x 600 x 370 mm.

Unique Properties: This Hi Fi artistic speaker mimics the classic form of vinyl records and integrates high‑fidelity audio with dynamic visuals. It not only transcends the traditional role as a mere sound output device, but also transforms music from a purely passive auditory signal into a form of spatial art that can be seen, felt, and experienced, redefining how music exists within the home environment.

Production Technology: The Hi Fi sound system professionally tuned by Jamo offers high resolution, low distortion sound. R1 uses recyclable materials like ABS plastic, optical glass, and high density fiberboard, facilitating easy recycling. A low power consumption chip and energy efficient display technology reduce standby power consumption below 0.5 W, minimizing energy use over time. The packaging is made from eco friendly kraft paper and biodegradable plastics, and avoids overpackaging, easing environmental burden.
Design Challenge: As a home art installation, R1 must balance screen display quality with varying indoor lighting conditions. To achieve this, it adopts an anti glare high definition screen, minimizing ambient light reflections to keep visuals clear, soft, and comfortable to view under different lighting environments. This ensures information readability and maintains a serene, refined spatial atmosphere, truly realizing the philosophy of technology hidden in beauty, functionality integrated into the environment.
Research: With a deep insight into the needs of modern users, the design team has transcended the traditional notion of music as merely an auditory experience, redefining it as a multidimensional sensory narrative. Building on this, R1 innovatively integrates the ritualistic charm of vinyl records with dynamic visuals, creating an audio visual synergy. This elevates music playback to audible and visible immersive spatial art, meeting the demand of users for refined living and profound emotional resonance.
Inspiration: R1 draws inspiration from vinyl records that carry rich music culture and collective memories. By mimicking the classic form and display aesthetic of vinyl records, it evokes an emotional connection to cherished music experiences of the past. The blend of black fabric, walnut wood, and matte black plastic creates a harmonious contrast in texture. This endows the product with understated elegance, highlighting its exceptional quality and allowing it to integrate naturally into any home setting.
Project Duration: The project started in December 2021 in Wuxi, Jiangsu. The product was launched in December 2022 in China, and its second generation was released in January 2024.
Operation Flow: The central high definition screen, during music playback, displays real time lyrics and dynamic visuals to visualize the emotion of music,greatly enhancing the sense of immersion and ritual. The screen also supports diverse display contents such as album covers, a virtual clock, and screen off minimalism, accommodating various scenarios and aesthetic preferences. R1 can be controlled via physical buttons, the dedicated app, and the customized operation terminal QMO, meeting personalized needs.
