The Tux mobile application was designed using a user-centered design methodology, combining UX research, journey mapping, information architecture, wireframing, interactive prototyping, and iterative usability testing. A scalable design system with reusable components ensured visual consistency and accessibility. High-fidelity interfaces were optimized for responsive mobile performance, intuitive navigation, streamlined ordering workflows, secure payment integration, and seamless pickup and loyalty experiences.
Défi de Conception
The primary challenge was designing a mobile ordering experience that balances speed, simplicity, and personalization while supporting diverse customer needs. Research focused on minimizing ordering friction, improving meal customization, integrating loyalty rewards and catering services, and creating intuitive navigation. The solution needed to provide a seamless, accessible, and scalable experience that increased customer satisfaction while supporting restaurant operational efficiency.
Recherche
The research used qualitative and evaluative methods to understand mobile food-ordering behavior. Objectives included reducing ordering friction and improving customization, pickup, rewards, and catering. Methods included competitor analysis, user interviews, journey mapping, and usability testing using surveys, prototypes, and analytics. Participants were restaurant customers. Results revealed a need for faster navigation and clearer status updates, leading to a simpler experience that improved convenience, loyalty, and operational efficiency.
