About Gloria Ring, Earmbân

Gloria is in juwielekolleksje dy't in ring en in earmbân omfettet. It ûntwerp is ynspirearre troch de stralekrâns, in stralende ring dy't keunstners om de holle fan hilligen skilderje as teken fan deugd. De haadskonken fan de ring en it lichem fan de earmbân binne mei de hân foarme út tried. De stiennen binne ek mei de hân makke fan natuerlike materialen, sûnder gemyske kleuren of tafoege stoffen, sadat de stiennen wer nei de natuer weromkeare kinne. De stikken kinne apart droegen wurde of kombinearre, sadat de foarm en de funksje feroare wurde kinne. It doel is om de ferheffing fan de minsklike geast út te drukken yn in draachber objekt.

The stones in this collection are made out of unique, environment friendly and completely natural materials.

Production Technology: The main shanks of the ring and the body of the bracelet are made by wire handforming and the stones’ materials are totally natural and environment friendly and in fact, no sort of chemical colors or substances has been used during the process of making.
Design Challenge: After searching in various features of natural materials, manifold techniques were tested to specify the optimal crafting method; so eventually a crafting process was selected out of sustainable and unique methods for making the stones of this collection.
Research: The design data of this collection and specially its stones, are garnered through information gathering and field & empirical studies.
Inspiration: (Gloria), In the dictionary it means halo, worshiping and praying of God the Almighty.The halo is a luminous ring which artists paint around the head of Saints or Mormons; this was used as the inspiration of the design.
Project Duration: This project started in 2017 and ended in 2019 after making the preliminary prototypes.
