About Electric Race Bike Elektryske Fyts
Elektryske Racefyts is in lichte elektryske fyts dy't ûntwikkele is foar gebrûk yn dyk-races. It frame is makke fan in kombinaasje fan kevlar en karbon, wat de struktuer sterk en tige licht makket. It totale gewicht is 9,5 kilogram. In sintrale motor leveret krêft en koppel om de fytser te helpen. De batterij hat in patintearre konstruksje en is ferstoppe binnen yn it frame. Der wurde hege-kwaliteit ûnderdielen brûkt dy't gebrûklik binne yn it profesjonele fytsen. De geometry folget dy fan in dyk-racefyts, en de foarm is ferfine yn in wynkanaal om de aerodynamika te ferbetterjen.

- Unique Properties
- One of the worlds lightest electric bicycles with a weight of only 9,5 kilos. The frame is made out of a kevlar and carbon combination making it both strong and extremely light at the samle time. A unique center motor is used to create the right amount of force and torque for the rider when he or she uses the bike. The battery is a patented construction hidden in the frame. The bike is equipped with high end components seen in professionel cycling. This is the ultimate electric bike for the rider who is looking for a little asistance.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- 180 cm x 95 cm x 55 cm. Weight 9,5 kilo
- Tags
- Electric bike, race bike, electric race bike
- Production Technology
- A variation of materials are used to realise this vehicle. Alluminium, Carbon and steel
- Design Challenge
- The most critical challenge was to get the weight down to a record breaking level. The electric bicycle has a race bike dna and must therefor be light. But having the added weight of a battery and a motor was the most difficult challenge. The way we have solved the challenges is by using untraditional materials for an electric bike such as carbon and kevlar instead of metal and alloy
- Research
- We have done research in aerodynamics, weight ratio to stiffness of the frames. This is a totally new method in the electric bicycles industry where those parameters mentioned has not been explored before now with our new Maserati bicycle product.Protanium/Asia Kingston has the licence rights to use the Maserati brand for electric bicycles.
- Inspiration
- We are inspired by the racing industry as know from the professionel cycling scene. We are inspired by the geometry of a real racing bike in order to create this special vehicle.
- Project Duration
- 12 month from first sketch to final product. Made and developed in Croatia
- Operation Flow
- The use of windtunnel was used to create an optimised aerodynamic for the racing electric vehicle.
