About The Ark of Future Residinsjele Ynterieurûntwerp
De Ark fan de Takomst is in ynterieurûntwerp foar in partikuliere wenning mei in oerflakte fan 188 kante meter. It hûs waard ûntwurpen foar in jong gesin dat gauris gearkomsten organisearret.

- Production Technology
- The designer positioned this space as a carrier of day-to-day life. The sense of existence of the space is minimized through simple spatial structure and lots of blank space. It leaves a free framework for the changing living conditions of the owners, so as to provide more possibilities for the enhancement of the space.
Almost all planes and facades are composed of pure vertical segments. A large number of squares and golden section matrix are used for composition, which is fashionable and full of balanced aesthetic features of "Neoplasticism".
In order to create a simple, natural and bright space atmosphere, the surface of the space uses cement, wood, stone and other building materials which are close to the original state.
The designer rationally uses linear light sources and reflected light sources in different functional spaces in the interior. By expressing the inherent colors, textures and textures of the building materials themselves, a natural atmosphere in the space has been created. - Design Challenge
- In this case, the open kitchen provides plenty of social and living functions.
For Chinese kitchens, the disposal of oil fume in cooking is a huge challenge. The designer uses both smoke guiding equipment and range hoods to prevent oil fume from spreading through secondary filtration. - Research
- The application of flowing space design concept in a residential project
The processing for lampblack in a Chinese-style open kitchen - Inspiration
- The inspiration comes from Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's design concept, the Space of Flows. After a moderate space transformation, the designer connects the kitchen, dining room, and living room into a public activity space with an area of more than 100 square meters. The public area provides decent space for family interaction and gatherings of friends.
The four bedrooms are set on the edge of the public space and facing the river and mountain views to ensure customer's privacy and comfort. - Project Duration
- Design Duration: October 2019 to November 2019
Date of Completion: October 2020
Project Address: Yunyan District, Guiyang City, China - Operation Flow
- The designer has expanded the kitchen functions by setting up hidden wine cabinets and cigar cabinets in the kitchen area. By setting open leisure areas around the kitchen, the kitchen becomes a restaurant, bar, tearoom and rest hall. The integrated area has also become the main area for family communication and gatherings of relatives and friends. This conversion of kitchen functions makes a fantastic life for residents and closer communication between family members.
