About TuttoTondo Wasktafel

TuttoTondo is in lúkse monolityske wasktafel dy't de ferfining fan moarmer kombineart mei de hi-tech sjarme fan stiel. It konsept komt út de winsk om fan de wasktafel it draaipunt te meitsjen dêr't de badkeamer omhinne foarm krijt, lykas de âlde sliepkeamerswasktafel. It systeem bestiet út moarmeren eleminten ferbûn troch stielen ferrules. Dizze kinne op har beurt in searje aksessoires fan ferskate soarten en maten befetsje, lykas spegels, planken, konteners, dy't de estetyk en funksjonaliteit fan TuttoTondo ferrykje, it konsept foltôgje en it konfigurearber meitsje neffens de meast ferskillende behoeften.

Production Technology: cnc for the marble and watercut for steel
Design Challenge: The biggest challenge was to maintain a minimal aesthetic while associating the simple shape of the washbasin with a very technical system of accessories. The division of the washbasin into blocks, thanks also to the current CNC processing technologies, allows easier serial production and less waste of material.
Research: After evaluating the market trends in the bathroom furniture sector, the attention was focused on luxury washbasins by identifying a common factor: 99% of the projects exclusively concern a monolithic object, never equipped, attached to the wall or close to it. The idea was that equipping the sink with a system of accessories, from the mirror to the shelf, was possible make it independent from the wall, suitable for any place and usable from any side.
Inspiration: The washbasin is almost exclusively placed next to a bathroom wall to which we apply a series of accessories (mirrors, shelves, small containers, etc.). By designing TuttoTondo I freed the sink from the need for a wall, recalling the historic image of the basin revisited in a contemporary key and complete with accessories.
Project Duration: Project started in December 2020, finished February 2021
Operation Flow: TuttoTondo is a modular marble washbasin consisting of 3 elements for the column and a washbasin element. These are joined together by steel ferrules that can be equipped with a series of accessories of various types (mirrors, shelves and containers). The modularity of the washbasin allows, together with the system of accessories, to freely configure the washbasin according to the most diverse needs, both at the time of purchase and over time.
