Kitazawa is in lânskips- en dielde-romte-ûntwerp foar de begjinferdjipping fan in nije kollektive wenning yn Setagaya-ku, Tokio. It projekt omfiemet de dielde romte, de tún en it parkearterrein. Dakpannen fan it eardere hûs yn Japanske styl op it terrein binne mongen mei terrazzo en oanbrocht troch pleisterjen, sadat de tekstuer fan de plak bewarre bliuwt. It sitewaasjeterrein sûnder trochgong waard omfoarme ta in trochgong tusken de stegen dy't ek tsjinnet as evakuaasjeroute. Beammen waarden opnij oanplante en der waard in iepen biotoop mei sitbankjes tafoege foar koarte pauzes en foar moetings tusken bewenners en buorlju.
