Oer Ideareve Ikegami Muzykseal
Ideareve Ikegami is in muzykseal en gebou mei mingd gebrûk yn Ikegami, Ota-ku, Tokio, Japan. De fjouwer ferdjippings hege konstruksje fan wapene beton is tsien meter heech. It gebou befettet in muzykseal mei in auditoarium, oefenromten, lûddichte hierwenten en in penthouse. In portaal en foyer foarmje in sirkulaasjesône dy't it ynterieur en it eksterieur mei-inoar ferbynt. Trije messingkleurige diagonale muorren fan rustfrij stiel jouwe de foyer syn foarm, en akoestyske reflektors beklaaie de seal. It geometryske folume docht tinken oan it heuvellân oan 'e foet fan 'e Ikegami Honmonji-timpel.

- Unike Eigenskippen
- The mandate was to design a facility where residents can gather and study music in a variety of hybrid spaces. The reinforced concrete structure was designed to accommodate a music hall, practice rooms, soundproofed residential rental units, and a penthouse. The music hall and its auditorium occupies a strategic place. Entered via a vestibule and foyer it creates a circulation zone that blurs the lines between the hills of the external landscape and the vibe of creativity that awaits inside.

- The building is a reinforced concrete structure. All rental residential units have a soundproof living room. The foyer is embraced by three brass-coloured, stainless steel diagonal walls, and the interior of the hall is encased in acoustic reflectors, with large walls that collectively form an abstract diagonal shape.
- Untwerpútdaging
- The challenge was to solve the problem of providing privacy while opening up music activities to the community in a historically and culturally significant location. We addressed this challenge by creating a circulation space that crosses both the interior and exterior, while also pursuing a building form that symbolizes musical rhythm.
- Undersyk
- Ikegami Honmonji is one of the most important temples of the Nichiren sect, dating back to the 13th century, and its history spans many years. Our task was to create a new community space that coexists with the cultural heritage at the foot of the temple. We sought to explore a new program facility where residents can continue to live while practicing, appreciating, and receiving music lessons, and also have the opportunity to present their music.
- Ynspiraasje
- What inspired this design most is the unique location at the foot of Ikegami Honmonji temple and the surrounding hilly landscape. This inspired us to incorporate a mountainous topography effect into the geometrical volume of the building.
