About Chifuyu Sintraletafel foar de Wenkeamer
Chifuyu is in lege sintraletafel ûntwurpen foar wenkeamers. De foarm waard ynspirearre troch in byld fan twa stikken lear dy't yn 'e loft sweve. Ien inkeld bûgd stik lear foarmet it oerflak en soarget foar in gefoel fan sweven. Perforearre metaal stipet de bûging en makke de komplekse trijediminsjonale foarmjouwing mooglik. De tafel mjit 950 millimeter yn 'e breedte, 950 millimeter yn 'e djipte en 280 millimeter yn 'e hichte. It lichte en swevende uterlik is bedoeld om in bysûndere noat ta te foegjen oan alledeiske ynterieurs.

This center table is almost gravity-beflying.
This table, as if suspended in mid-air, will bring a touch of the extraordinary to your everyday life. - Dimensions & Packaging

- Production Technology
- The shaping of the tertiary surface proved extremely difficult. It was achieved by employing perforated metal.
- Design Challenge
- Expressing the shape of a cubic surface and realising it while utilising the skills of engineers proved extremely difficult. Through repeated discussions, we continued to seek the correct solution until completion.
- Inspiration
- While pondering how to create a new table, an image came to mind of two pieces of leather suspended in mid-air.
I contemplated how to realise this vision, and arrived at this form. - Project Duration
- The project started in Apr. 2020 in Tokyo and finished in Jan. 2021 in Tokyo, and was exhibited in Salone del Mobile in June 2022.
