About Lakeside Living Hûs En Tún
De Arsjitektuer is in relaasje ta utering te jaan wêryn't it hûs diel útmakket fan 'e natuerlike omjouwing - opnij oanmeitsje foar in wâl mei diskrete yntervinsjes en in ienfâldige houten skulp dy't foarsichtich sit op it lânskip dat as taflecht fungeart. Lucent skaden fan 'e besteande beammen geane de romte yn. It gersgebiet liket it ynterieur fan it hûs te ferlingjen. It doel fan dit projekt wie om organyske arsjitektuer te meitsjen troch utering fan it side-karakter, de artikulaasje fan romte en materiaal, it ljochtûntwerp en de kontrastearjende kwaliteit fan privee en iepen romte.

- Unique Properties
- A Summerhouse with garage, a boathouse and a Sauna perfectly integrated in to the lake shore. Natural aging materials support the concept 'Gesamtkunstwerk', where the Architecture, Garden and Interior spaces are in perfect harmony. Wooden walkways lead to a boathouse and a generous Terrace overlooking the lake.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- Lake site dimension- 6.000 sqm, 50m shore an 2000 sqm wet meadow had been renaturated by cutting off the drainage system.

- Production Technology
- The lake side was re naturalized with grasses. Wooden walkways lead to a boathouse and a generous Terrace overlooking the lake.
- Design Challenge
- The lake clay was the most difficult part for constructing of the boat house and foundation of the main house.
- Research
- We tried to reinterprete the athmosphere of the surrounding wetland area which is famous for its original beauty. It means only grasses, lillys and Filipendula ulmaria as mass plantation
- Inspiration
- The dream of the owners was to build a house onto the narrow lake site which has a close connection to nature combined with a Japanese atmosphere. The Japanese culture reflects a feeling of sophistication, perfection in detailing, open flowing spaces and the accommodation of changing seasons. The aim of the architect was to design a Gesamtkunstwerk where the Architecture is to express a strong relationship to nature in which the house is part of the natural environment.
- Project Duration
- 2011 - 2013, lake Starnberg, Bavaria, Germany
