About House Elvesgarden Áit Chónaithe Phríobháideach

Iarracht a bhí sa tionscadal rud éigin cumhachtach a chruthú gan a bheith glórach. Áit íogair a thugann suaimhneas agus a thairgeann peirspictíochtaí éagsúla ar an dúlra máguaird. Baineann sé le solas agus leis an iliomad cur chuige dá mhacasamhail: an scáth. Tógadh an teach do bhaintreach óg mar chúlchiste dá hanam. Tá tionchar ag cultúr na Seapáine ar sheomraí leathdhorcha scáthaithe ar an atmaisféar, áit a bhfuil cuma ar na dathanna tais agus a thagann an glow ón taobh istigh. Domhan ina bhfuil an dorchadas lán teas agus dathúlacht domhain.

Research: So, it is no wonder that the architecture is deeply connected with nature. The garden with its forest like atmosphere was really the starting point of the project. A major dream from the owner was namely to have her first garden she dreamt of since her childhood.
Inspiration: It was more than an aesthetic exercise.
It was a spiritual retreat, a place to cleanse body and soul.
The house was build for a young widow as a retreat for her soul.
The atmosphere is influenced by the Japanese culture of semi dark shadowed rooms where the colours seem damped and the glow comes from within. A world where darkness is full of warmth and profound colourfulness.
Project Duration: The project started in 2017 in Munich and finished in 2019
Operation Flow: The project was an attempt to create something powerful without being loud. A sensitive place that gives tranquility and offers various perspectives to the surrounding nature.
It is all about light and the countless approaches to its counterpart: the shadow.
