About Saturn Leaba Chait

Is leaba chait é Saturn atá múnlaithe mar theach cruinn adhmaid do pheataí i dtithe nua-aimseartha. Tá an fhoirm tógtha ó phíosaí triantánacha d'adhmad barrachais, cóimeáilte ar nós liathróide sacair, sa chaoi go n-athúsáidtear na fuílligh ó tháirgeadh troscáin agus go laghdaítear dramhaíl ábhair. Ligeann oscailt mhór don chat dul isteach, agus ligeann dhá pholl níos lú ar na taobhanna don úinéir idirghníomhú leis an bpeata. Tá an taobh istigh críochnaithe le péint dhorcha chun spás ciúin compordach a chruthú. Tomhaiseann Saturn 480 faoi 409 milliméadar.

Behind the Design

Press Kit

Credits, team members and technical details provided by the designer.

Unique Properties: Saturn is a pet house with a modern style. Making full use of surplus materials of modern wood processing, this product reduces material waste and adheres to the maxim of sustainability. Moreover, it integrates elegance and utilization for a stunning view of modern home space.
Dimensions & Packaging: 480*409mm
Production Technology: In terms of processing techniques, we imitate the way how the footballs are assembled, i.e. using triangles to assemble a round shape. This technique helps us make full use of and reprocess the surplus materials, thus reducing the waste during processing.
Design Challenge: The challenge lies in how to create a cozy environment for cats. Saturn is designed with two holes on either side for better interaction between the pet and its owner. In addition, based on the nature of pets, this product employs dark painting for a comfortable living space.
Research: The study shows that pet housewares are a hit in the household industry. Saturn can perfectly blend in with the modern household decoration, which caters for the nature of cats and uses quality wood material for security and comfort during usage.
Inspiration: The design team is inspired by the surplus materials during the production of modern furniture, which is premium in quality but cannot be reused for its sizes. Thus, they refer to the football and assemble the wood into a regular round shape.
Project Duration: Started in March 2021 in Beijing, this product was finished in November 2021 in Henan Province and was exhibited in Caochangdi Art District, Beijing.
Operation Flow: The cat can enter the pet house through the large hole, while the owner can interact with the cat via the holes on either side.
