This is the first-ever pivotal study in which a digital device was shown to be non-inferior to eye patching for amblyopia treatment in children.
The study also exhibited 93% adherence to the curesight treatment, as well as a 93% likelihood of the parents choosing curesight over patching.
Inspioráid: The inspiration for the curesight product started from a personal experience when one of my kids needed to treat the lazy eye condition with the eye patch solution, I learned from this experience about the discomfort of wearing the eye patch for a few hours every day and especially how embarrassing it is from the social point of view.
The inspiration for the styling design came from the tech gadgets that kids love to use and play with, to provide a slick and modern design to a medical device product type, the front aluminum bezel, and the back swallowtail gives the product a clean gadget look.
