About Sway 酒吧椅
Is bealach é Sway chun do rithim agus patrúin féin a fhiosrú. Trí na gluaiseachtaí seo gan aithne a bhreathnú agus a fháil amach ó am go chéile, tugadh faoi deara go léiríonn daoine iompraíochtaí neamhfhiosacha uaireanta, cosúil le rocking, agus iad ag dul isteach i staid shreabhadh mheabhrach. Trí luascadán a ionchorprú faoin suíochán, déantar an airde agus an ceint uathúil a sholáthraíonn stól barra a ghiaráil. Soláthraíonn sé cobhsaíocht agus racáil rialaithe, ar scála beag a ligeann d'úsáideoirí a rithim féin a iniúchadh agus a aimsiú. Leis an dearadh ard ar stól barra agus a ghluaisne rocála, cuireann Sway meon suaimhneach agus machnaimh chun cinn.

- Production Technology
- Traditional bending, handmade welding, handmade woodworking, surface treatment.
- Design Challenge
- The production process involves traditional tube bending and handmade welding, but transforming unconscious behavior and mental flow into objects is the longest and most thoughtful part of the entire creative process.
- Research
- Inspired by the observation and discovery of people's occasional unconscious behavior of rocking, research has found that it has a similar function of "awakening" the brain, promoting cognitive thinking ability, increasing blood flow, and inducing a state of mental flow. From this intriguing phenomenon, the concept was transformed into the design of an object, particularly a bar stool, utilizing the unique sensation brought by the bar stool to create a high rocking chair. The chair aims to evoke a relaxed atmosphere and aid in achieving a state of focused thinking.
Subsequently, the center of gravity was tested to determine the appropriate proportions of length and weight distribution. Once the size was defined, the design was conceived, and PVC water pipes were heated to create the model of the chair frame ,and size adjustments. Finally, surface treatment was applied. - Inspiration
- Through observing and discovering these occasional unconscious movements, it has been noted that people sometimes exhibit unconscious behaviors, such as rocking, when entering a state of mental flow. This fascinating phenomenon has inspired me to transform it into a design object.
- Project Duration
- The project lasts for one semester and takes place at Shih Chien University.
