Design Challenge: The biggest challenge was balancing aesthetic appeal with functional accessibility. The day-to-night UI transition required extensive color testing to ensure smooth visual adaptation without abrupt shifts. Another challenge was integrating science-backed sleep and meditation principles into an interface that felt intuitive and engaging while minimizing cognitive load. Ensuring readability and inclusivity for diverse user demographics was also a key focus.
Research: This project involved qualitative research, usability testing, and color psychology studies to understand meditation and sleep behaviors. The research explored habit formation, cognitive load reduction, and engagement patterns, using semi-structured interviews with 14 participants.
