About Unvisible Landscapes Príomhfheidhm: Lampa

Téacs Leabhair: Sraith lampaí is ea Unvisible Landscapes atá bunaithe ar fhractail thríthoiseacha. Cuireann na foirmeacha tírdhreacha uirbeacha i gcuimhne agus gintear iad i mbogearraí samhaltúcháin fractal. Cuirtear léarscáileanna easáitithe i bhfeidhm ar na dromchlaí i mbogearraí samhaltúcháin tríthoiseacha, agus priontáiltear na cruthanna a thagann as sin le fiolaimint PLA. Feistítear stiallacha LED agus soláthar cumhachta ar gach réad priontáilte, ionas go gcuirtear an fractal i láthair i bhfoirm solais. Nochtann an tsraith struchtúir mhatamaiticiúla sa spás fisiciúil agus tugann sí isteach i réimse na healaíne agus an dearaidh iad.

Behind the Design

Press Kit

Credits, team members and technical details provided by the designer.

Unique Properties: 3 dimensional fractals that bring associations with urban landscapes generated in fractal generation software and then transposed to physical space by 3d printing and presented in the form of light.
Dimensions & Packaging: Model 1: Width 170 mm x Depth 120 mm x Height 26 mm
Model 2: Width 200 mm x Depth 150 mm x Height 16 mm
Model 3: Width 420 mm x Depth 320 mm x Height 15 mm
Tags: fractal, fractals, 3d print, 3d printing, light
Production Technology: Fractal generation through Mandelbulb 3d software. 3d processing was made by applying displacement maps to surfaces in 3d modeling software. Physical objects were printed on a 3d printer with te use of PLA filament and then equipped with LED strips for lighting.
Design Challenge: This design is a part of the project 'Unvisible Spaces' with the aim to visualize and sonify 'unvisible' phenomena that take place in nature and introduce them to the field of art and design.
Research: Fractals generated by mutation of formulas and navigation in Mandelbulb 3d software. Then rendered and transposed into video, digital prints and 3d prints.
Inspiration: Objective mathematical notions must be thought as timeless entities and are not to be regarded as being conjured into existence at the moment that they are first humanly perceived.
