About Montecarmelo Townhouses Tithean Teaghlaich
Is e pròiseact taigheadais teaghlaich ann am Madrid, san Spàinn, a th' ann an Tithean Sràide Montecarmelo. Tha an dealbhadh a' freagairt do nàbachd de thaighean sreathach le coltas ath-riochdaichte agus co-thaobhaichte. Tha na h-aghaidhean còmhdaichte le sgrionaichean breige garbh a bheir sgàil don taobh a-staigh bhon ghrèin. Tha am beachd a' tighinn bho shiostaman traidiseanta dìon-grèine, leithid dallagan esparto a lorgar ann an ailtireachd dhùthchasach ceann a deas is ear na Spàinne. Tha na breigean nas motha na an tomhas àbhaisteach agus tha iad air an cur gu inghearach. Tha an sgìre thogte 586.4 meatair ceàrnagach. Chaidh an obair a dhèanamh eadar an Dàmhair 2017 agus am Màrt 2019.

In OOIIO Architecture we apply certain design techniques, such as Dalí s paranoid critical method, which allow us to escape these restrictions. Thinking with an inspiration idea.

- Research
- Our team work always step by step, first of all making a Concept Research. The objective of the research is to find a generator idea to guide us in the design of the project. The research tools are based in simplicity and the re-interpretation of tradition that we think that are the key to find the most intelligent solution to a design problem.
- Inspiration
- The main idea was born thinking of traditional sun protection systems, such as esparto blinds that can be found in vernacular architecture in southern and eastern Spain, we came to the solution of creating rough brick cloths that cover and protect from the sun these terraced houses in Madrid, configuring the facade.
- Project Duration
- The project started in October in 2017 and finished in March 2019 in Madrid.
