About JAM Vision Track3 Fo-innealta Sùla
Is e frèam speuclairean a th' ann an JAM Vision Track3 a chaidh a dhealbhadh airson buaidh àrainneachdail ìosal. Tha na h-aghaidhean agus na bàrran air an dèanamh à PA11 tro mhanufactaradh cur-ris, a chuingealaicheas sgudal stuthan. Tha na teampallan agus an drochaid air an gearradh le laser à stàilinn neo-mheirgeach a chaidh ath-chuairteachadh gu tur. Tha gach frèam air a dhèanamh a rèir iarrtais, agus mar sin tha stoc is anabharra air an seachnadh. Tha na pàirtean uile ceangailte gu meacanaigeach, gun tàthadh no glaodh, agus mar sin gabhaidh pàirt fa leth atharrachadh ma bhriseas i. Bheir bann magnaiteach peutantaichte cothrom air falbh bho fheum air sgriubhaichean, agus chaidh a dhearbhadh tro 100,000 cuairt fillidh gun chall coileanaidh. Tha am frèam iomlan nas aotroime na 20 gram uile gu lèir.

- Unique Properties
- The Eyewear is fully sustainable, economical, made on demand, and innovative. Thanks to additive manufacturing and Laser cut stainless steel 100% recycled, made on demand, the project is eco-responsible without creating wasted product. Thanks to the patented simple hinges and the clipping system, it could be assembled even by the end user ! Also, as the patented hinge is based on magnetic elements, the hinge is life lasting (100.000 folding test has been made, without any loss performance !)
- Dimensions & Packaging
- 145x155x45mm / Less than 20g
- Tags
- Sustainable, innovative, magnetic hinges, 3Dprinted, mechanical assembly, Made on demand
- Production Technology
- PA11 additive manufactured, 100% recycled stainless steel, and our know-how in terms of 3D printing constraint and possibilities. Patented hinge obtained by magnets assembly to create friction and axis
- Design Challenge
- When we decided to launch a brand, we decided that the footprint of this line needs to be as minimum as possible. The eyewear industry use to work with classical soustractive solution (80% of the raw material is trashed), and fixed assembly solution (riveted, soldered, shouted). We decided to start with a brand new method, work in additive, source only eco responsible material, and mechanical easy assembly, to eventually leave the customer to do it by himself.
- Inspiration
- We were inspired by Ikea, for the easy assembly, and also by the old metal toys to be bend and assembly. Then, lines are inspired by minimalism Japanese spirit, and engineering achievement that we learnt working with some high-end customer (like McLaren). Hinges came thanks to my passion for magnets
- Project Duration
- 8 months of creation and pre-production, designed in Lyon, France
- Operation Flow
- This frame is obtained by easy assembly between parts after high personalization of each parts, made on demand, without high stock. All the elements are easy to remove in order to replace just one part in case of breakage. The hinge itself has been tested with 100.000 folding, without any reduction of performance, which push the boundaries of every other ones resistance.
