About Jobcenter Berlin Foirgneamh Riaracháin

Is foirgneamh riaracháin i mBeirlín, sa Ghearmáin, é Jobcenter Beirlín, a cruthaíodh trí Ardfhoirgneamh Bornemann a athchóiriú, síneadh ó na 1960idí ar halla an bhaile. Rinneadh an foirgneamh liostaithe a nuashonrú de réir na gcaighdeán struchtúrtha, fuinnimh agus cosanta dóiteáin reatha, agus rinneadh na pleananna urláir a oiriúnú do riachtanais na n-úsáideoirí nua. Rinneadh na leacacha coincréite níocháin agus na heilimintí fuinneoige a athnuachan de réir an bhundeartha, i gcomhaontú leis an údarás cosanta séadchomharthaí. Deisíodh agus glanadh na ballaí clochmhasúnaíochta nochta sna pasáistí. Treoraíonn coincheap dathanna nua na limistéir phoiblí agus na dorchlaí.

Unique Properties
Conversion of the Bornemann High-rise into Jobcenter Berlin:
The extension of the town hall from the 1960s in Berlin was converted and technically as well as energetically updated to the latest technological standards. A special influence on the plans for the transformation of the listed ensemble was the preservation of the draft character of Fritz Bornemann. The conversion and interior renovation has created a striking example of preserving a building from the post-war modern era.

Production Technology
When renewing the washed concrete slabs, the existing light parapets and the dark opaque outer wall surfaces of the window bands were designed as smoothly cleaned surfaces, in consultation with the monument protection authority. For reasons of carrying capacity of the existing structure and economy, this intervention had to be made in the protected facade.
Design Challenge
A special influence on the plans for the transformation of the listed ensemble was the preservation of the draft character of Fritz Bornemann.
Research
The ensemble today is a significant example of modern post-war architecture and is a listed building. The judgment of the jury in 1955 was: "The urban development in the large green area south of the old town hall is excellent."
Inspiration
Taking into account the 1960s Bornemann design, SSP Rüthnick Architekten adapted the energetic upgrade of the facades, the modernization of the building technology and the fire protection, as well as the floor plan structure to the space requirements of the new users. Structurally and in terms of energy efficiency, the 50yearold building complex no longer met the current requirements and had to be extensively repaired and rebuilt for its new use as a job center and vocational information center.
Project Duration
Realization: 2013-2018
Location: Berlin, Germany
Operation Flow
The window elements, taking into account today's energy and building physics requirements, were completely renewed, according to the original model.
Inside the building, all walls made of exposed masonry remained in the hallways. They were repaired and cleaned in the course of the construction work. A new color concept is the basis of the design of public areas and corridors.
