About Taiwan Imagery Cathair
Is cathair í Taiwan Imagery a spreagadh ó chultúr traidisiúnta na Téaváine. Cuireann an dearadh mála KA-TSI, mála fite a úsáidtear go coitianta sa Téaváin, le chéile leis an gCathaoir Tai-Shi, cathaoir uilleach adhmaid clasaiceach Síneach a úsáideadh i luath-thithe na Téaváine. Is iad an bogshifín agus an t-alúmanam na príomhábhair. Tá an chathaoir 500 x 980 x 710 milliméadar ar mhéid. Foirmíonn an droim, an cúisín agus na cosa trí chuid ar leith atá ceangailte le scriúnna, rud a fhágann go bhfuil an t-iompar dlúth agus an mhonarú níos simplí. Rialaíonn múnla na cruthanna cuartha agus laghdaíonn sé earráidí táirgeachta.

- Production Technology
- bulrush (phôo tsháu)/Aluminum
- Design Challenge
- The special curvature makes it easy to produce errors, so after many experiments we chose to use a mold to control its shape.
- Research
- The earliest KA-TSI bags were knitted with bulrush (phôo tsháu).
KA-TSI Chair is taken from Tai-Shi Chair, the Chinese wooden fauteuil. Named after the official title, the Tai-Shi Chair is a classical Chinese furniture used by the Taiwanese earlier. - Inspiration
- We hope to bring the traditional culture of Taiwan into this design, so that the tradition can be reproduced by design.
- Project Duration
- The project starts in Turin in October 2022 and ends in Taiwan in December 2022.
- Operation Flow
- The whole chair is divided into three parts, the back, cushion and legs, and assembled with screws, so that it will not take up space when transporting and can be more easily processed and manufactured.
