About Palette Table Bòrd Ìseal

Is e bòrd ìseal a th' ann am Bòrd Palette a chaidh a dhealbhadh airson a chleachdadh fhad 's a tha thu nad shuidhe air an làr, air a bhrosnachadh leis a' chabudai Iapanach. Tha am mullach air a chruthachadh le trì cearcallan a tha a' dol thairis air a chèile, agus tha an lag mòr lùbte a' cruthachadh àite airson suidhe. Faodaidh daoine obrachadh bhon aghaidh agus cuideachd bhon dà thaobh, clì is deas. Tha dà loidhne bheag lùbte a' stiùireadh raon an t-suidheachain agus a' cruthachadh mothachadh dlùths. Bheir an cumadh cruinn air falbh oisean a tha doirbh a ruighinn. Tha toll beag anns a' phlàta uachdair a leigeas le nithean beaga a dhol troimhe, agus tha am plàta uachdair as ìsle a' cuairteachadh. Tha am bòrd air a dhèanamh à fiodh daraich.

Unique Properties: A unique low table that can be used freely with plenty of space for people to sit. The overlapping of the three circles has a meaning. The large depression is a place for people to sit, and it allows people to work not only from the front but also from the left and right sides. Additionally, two small curved lines guide the seating area and create a sense of intimacy. This shape eliminates hard-to-reach corners and gives you a perfectly round table.
Dimensions & Packaging: Product dimensions: 1440mm*846mm*340mm
Tags: furniture design, table, palette, japan
Production Technology: Made from oak wood. This table was created by a designer.
Design Challenge: The challenge was to find a balance between beautiful shape and strength. We have come up with all kinds of patterns while predicting how it will be used and how it will flow.
Research: It was an emotional formative research based on Japanese culture. In addition to being used for multiple purposes, we thought of a beautiful design that would become a symbol of the space, and a system that would fit in with daily life. When designing the product, we paid close attention to the emotions of the users, and were conscious of the way it would be used in daily life. We considered the size based on ergonomics while searching for a beautiful balance of shape.
Inspiration: This table was inspired by Japanese floor sitting culture. In Japan, there is a low table called Chabudai that is used to sit on the floor. The Chabudai is a type of furniture that is familiar to Japanese people, as it can be used to gather around the dining table or for hobby purposes. In response to changes in the way people gather and spend their time due to the coronavirus pandemic, we came up with a new table shape.
Project Duration: The project started in June 2023 and ended in October 2023.
Operation Flow: You can place your elbows on a curved surface that follows your body, allowing you to maintain a beautiful posture. The overlapping circles create a sense of division in work, creating an environment where each work can be done differently.
A small hole in the top plate is a point where cats can poke their heads out and take out small items, creating communication. The bottom top plate rotates like a propeller, giving it a sense of playfulness.
