About Rin Seilf Taisbeanaidh
Is seilf taisbeanaidh í Rin atá déanta as adhmad Sendan ó Réigiún Okinawa. Tá dearadh na gcolún spreagtha ag radharc na bhforaoisí bambú Seapánacha. Déantar gach colún trí cheithre shlat iarainn de dhifriúla fad a tháthú le pláta cruach. Socraítear na colúin leis an adhmad le scriúanna, rud a chuidíonn freisin cosc a chur ar an adhmad soladach ó chamadh. Fágtar an t-adhmad gan phróiseáil, agus mar sin athraíonn a fhad agus a thiús, agus fanann cruth nádúrtha gach cláir le feiceáil. Is féidir leabhair agus míreanna beaga a chur idir na colúin. Is féidir líon na gcolún a mhéadú chun freastal ar an spás.

- Unique Properties
- Since the wood is not processed, the length and thickness vary, allowing you to enjoy a variety of solid wood shapes and expressions. You can put books or small items between the pillars. Each pillar has a different shape, so it's fun to assemble while choosing. By increasing the number of pillars to match the space, you can create a shelf with a different look.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- Width 2000mm, depth 500mm, height 1030mm
- Tags
- design, furniture, shelf, wood, Japan
- Production Technology
- This shelf is made from ''Sendan'' wood from Okinawa Prefecture. The pillars are made by randomly welding four iron rods of different lengths to a steel plate. This shelf was created by a designer.
- Design Challenge
- It is about maintaining strength and stability against back and forth swaying. Strength can be increased by increasing the angle of the iron rod, increasing the number of columns, or placing it next to a wall. By fixing the iron plate to the wood with screws, it stabilizes the shelf while preventing the solid wood from warping.
- Research
- Fascinated by the natural texture of solid wood, we came up with a design that did not require any processing on the wood. It has a simple structure, consisting of a pillar made of four iron rods welded to a steel plate, which is fixed to wood with screws. By supporting the heavy solid wood with thin pillars, we have created a structure that gives the impression of lightness.
- Inspiration
- This is a shelf made from ''Sendan'' wood from Okinawa. The pillars were inspired by the landscape of Japanese bamboo forests. This will raise the awareness of consumers and manufacturers about saving wood resources, and will make proposals for environmentally friendly manufacturing.
- Project Duration
- The project started in December 2021 and ended in February 2024.
- Operation Flow
- To assemble, fix the pillars in the desired position with screws. You can increase or decrease the number of shelf posts. The purpose is to place pottery and sculptures and enjoy the interior.
